Hormonal Testing

Hormonal balance under surveillance

We offer a full range of hormonal tests to assess the functioning of the endocrine glands. These analyses play a key role in the diagnosis of hormonal imbalances, metabolic disorders and fertility.

These tests include:

1

TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone): Key indicator for assessing thyroid function.
T3 (Triiodothyronine) and T4 (Thyroxine): Measure the hormones produced by the thyroid gland to evaluate its function.
Anti-Thyroid Antibodies: Tests for Hashimoto's thyroiditis or Graves' disease (anti-thyroid peroxidase antibodies, anti-TSH receptor antibodies).
2

Estradiol (E2): Main estrogen, used to assess ovarian function in women, menstrual cycle regulation, or fertility evaluation.
Progesterone: Measures the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle or pregnancy.
Testosterone: Detects hormonal imbalances in men and women, used in diagnosing hirsutism, menstrual cycle disorders, or hyperandrogenism.
LH (Luteinizing Hormone) and FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone): Assess ovulation in women and the proper functioning of the gonads in both men and women.
Prolactin: Important test in lactation disorders or hormonal problems affecting fertility.
3

Cortisol: Stress hormone, measured to diagnose conditions like Cushing's disease or adrenal insufficiency.
Aldosterone: Key role in regulating water-salt balance, often measured to evaluate disorders like primary hyperaldosteronism.
ACTH (Adrenocorticotropic Hormone): Regulates cortisol production, used to diagnose pituitary or adrenal disorders.
4

Free and Total Testosterone: Excess is associated with PCOS, leading to symptoms of hyperandrogenism.
Dihydrotestosterone (DHT): Active form of testosterone, often elevated in PCOS.
Androstenedione: Precursor of testosterone, measured in PCOS to evaluate androgen production by the ovaries.
Delta-4-Androstenedione: Another precursor of testosterone that can be elevated in PCOS.
5

GH (Growth Hormone): Evaluated in the diagnosis of acromegaly or dwarfism.
Prolactin: Essential in lactation disorders and infertility.

These specialized hormonal tests reflect our commitment to providing high-level scientific precision, supported by advanced equipment and an expert team.
